WHY WE EXIST

Every child deserves a safe, loving home—yet too many in the Treasure Valley are facing neglect, abuse, and uncertainty.

The statistics are heartbreaking:

📌 In 2015, 1,623 children in Idaho were victims of abuse or neglect—that’s 37 out of every 1,000 children.
📌 In 2017, Ada County emergency services responded to over 5,200 calls related to domestic abuse, sexual assault, and child abuse.
📌 In 2018, Idaho’s foster care system was home to approximately 1,300 children, ranging from infants to teenagers—each in need of stability and care.
📌 Today, over 1,000 children are in foster care in the Treasure Valley alone, with numbers continuing to rise due to Idaho’s rapid population growth.

💛 The need is undeniable. Treasured Home exists to provide a nurturing, faith-centered refuge where children can heal, grow, and thrive. Together, we can change lives—one child at a time.
